Plastic Base D-Ring

The Plastic base cargo points are easy to attach to your Shark SUPs board, along with the cargo elastic, to carry any extra gear while touring and exploring. We suggest using Drboat repair glue to secure the points, following these recommended instructions for best results:

Inflate the board to 15 psi (if the area is leaking, fully deflate the board).
Clean the area to be glued, removing any excess glue, ideally with acetone or nail polish remover.
Apply a layer of glue to both surfaces but do not push them together yet.
Allow the glue to dry for approximately 20 minutes, depending on the temperature.
Apply a second layer of glue to both surfaces.
Push the surfaces together, ensuring no air is trapped. Apply pressure, working from the centre outward. Squeeze the glue out from the edges and use a hairdryer to heat the area, activating the glue.
Continue applying force to the area for about 5 minutes to ensure it is well secured.
Place a heavy weight on the area for at least 8 hours.
For safety, always wear protective gear such as gloves and goggles when working with glue.
